The foundational project for GFA was stopping the development of a shopping mall on the Post Road. Other notable accomplishments include:
Shaped the development of the Nyala Farms office park (initially Stauffer Chemical)
Fought the closure of the Greens Farms fire station
Preserved the West Parish historical open space (fought FIVE times for that)
Lobbied to fund the reconstruction of the Burying Hill Beach jetty
